What we’re about.

Where we are.

Located in the heart of Redding, the Redding Cultural District encompasses Downtown Redding, Turtle Bay, and the parks directly across the Sacramento River.

Within our thriving cultural hub, a wide array of artistic and cultural amenities and events are shared. We have good food, music, microbrewing and wine tasting, theater, dance, cycling, scholarship and education, art, and nature exploration. There is something for everyone.

You will find nearly 70 public art installations and over 50 dining establishments, bars, and coffee shops in the Redding Cultural District. The historic Cascade Theatre and Redding Civic Auditorium host a range of regional, national, and international performing artists. Additionally, Turtle Bay Exploration Park, The Art Hunger, Old City Hall, and Carter House Art Gallery offer captivating art and cultural displays. Our Nationally recognized trail system connects visitors to the The McConnell Arboretum and the Sundial Bridge, a remarkable glass art walkway across the river and one of the world's largest working sundials.
